Contemporary Large Japanese Style Home.

Overall shape: An L-shaped, multi-level layout that creates a sheltered inner terrace/courtyard feel and helps the home “wrap” around views.
Roof language: Multiple hipped, tiled roofs with deep eaves—traditional Japanese roof character, but applied to a modern, expansive plan.
Material mix: Warm wood cladding contrasted with dark stone/brick-like volumes and slim black framing. The dark core elements visually “anchor” the lighter timber wings.
Glass & transparency: Extensive corner glazing and floor-to-ceiling windows on every level, making the interior feel open and view-focused.
Terraces & edges: Broad perimeter terraces with glass balustrades keep sightlines clean and emphasize indoor–outdoor living.
Entry sequence: A formal approach with wide stair runs, landings, and a grid-like stepping path—very controlled, calm geometry typical of Japanese-influenced landscape design.
Landscape design: Manicured hedges, low planting, and stone retaining walls create layered “garden rooms” that step down the slope.
Mood & use: Warm interior lighting, generous seating areas, and multiple wings suggest a home built for entertaining and quiet retreat—luxury expressed through space, craft, and setting.
